The Words of YESHUA+ HA MASHIYACH+ ... in Hebrew and in Aramaic . . .
Drawing from Anon Artist |
...the heart-broken Words of Our SAVIOR+ at about the Ninth Hour as HE+ hung on that crossbar . . . which was attached to a stake or post.
HE+ cried out only one more time before HE+ died... and that too was from a Psalm.
Now, Psalm 22 says , in Aramaic:
Eil, Eil, Lamana SHABAQTHANI.
But in Hebrew, Psalm 22 says:
Eli, Eli, Lama AZBAKTHANI.
Now, in Matthew 27:46, the Aramaic New Covenant quotes:
Eil, Eil, Lamana SHABAQTHANI.
The Greek New Covenant ( Robinson & Pierpont Byzantine Textform, 2005 ) quotes:
Ali, Ali, Lima SABACHTHANI.
- Not in the Hebrew,
- not in the Aramaic, and
- not in the Greek
are there at any time or place in the Old or New Covenant these words used even remotely to mean "spared" or "kept".
- The Hebrew AZBAKTHANI and
- the Aramaic SHABAQTHANI and
- and SABACHTHANI , which is the Greek equivalent of the Aramaic SHABAQTHANI
