WHAT Was HE+ Doing down there in the the heart of the earth for 3 Days and 3 Nights ?

What Was HE+ Doing Down There ?

 

 

 

For as Jonah was

three days and three nights

in the whale’s belly;

 

so shall the SON+ of Man be

three days and three nights

in the heart of

the earth.

Matthew 12:40

 

 

What was HE+ doing down there in the heart of the earth, for three days and three nights ?

 

We KNOW HE+ was not sleeping !

 

We KNOW HE+ was not recuperating !

 

We KNOW HE+ was not being punished by the devil ! ( As some heretical teachers assert and witch covens too!)

 

For M'SHIKHA+ also has once suffered for sins, the RIGHTEOUS+ for the unrighteous, that HE+ might bring us to GOD, being put to death in the flesh, but MADE LIVING by the HOLY SPIRIT: 1 Peter 3:18 ( literal translation) .

 

Forasmuch then as M'SHIKHA+  has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 1 Peter 4:1

 

We KNOW HE+ HAD FINISHED

THE JOB.

 

FATHER, it is FINISHED.

Into Thy Hands I+ commend My+ Spirit.

Destroy this Temple,

 

and in three days

I will raise it up.

 

Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this Temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

I+ am able to destroy

the Temple of GOD,

and to build it

THOU+ hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: THOU+ hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

Oh that the Salvation+ of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad. Psalm 53:6

For the M'SHIKHA+ also has once suffered for sins,

the RIGHTEOUS+ for the unrighteous,

 

that HE+ might bring us to GOD,

 

being put to death in the flesh,

but MADE ALIVE by the HOLY SPIRIT:

 

By WHOM also HE+ went

and preached unto the spirits in prison;

 

Which sometime were disobedient, when once the long suffering of GOD waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

 

The like figure whereunto 

even baptism doth also now save us.

So, WHAT  was  

HE+ Doing

in the Heart of the Earth

 for 3 days and 3 nights ?

 

HE+ was PREACHING !

HE+ was proclaiming!

 

HE+ was forming the CHURCH in the heart of the earth… the Ecclesia … the Called-Out ones… literally, called out of sheol, hades, hell, Abraham’s Bosom, the Heart of the Earth.

 

HE+ was preaching to the Captives, those in Abraham’s bosom, as per Luke 16.  

• HE+ was preaching to those who died, from Adam to Noah. 

  • HE+ was proclaiming the Good News of Salvation to the Patriarchs up to the time of Moses.  

    • HE+ was proclaiming the fulfillment of the Salvation Message to the Righteous Jews in Abraham's Bosom who had died following The LAW of Moses with all of their hearts, like David did. 

 

HE+ brought the Message of Salvation through HIMSELF+ to the Righteous Dead, whoever they were, that followed a Right Way of Life. 

[ Keep in mind: they were not CHRIST- REJECTORS . . . for they had had NO OPPORTUNITY to know the Saving GRACE of our LORD Y'SHU+ the M'SHIKHA+  until HE+ preached the GOOD NEWS in the heart of the earth. ] 

 

Romans 2: 14-15

For when the Gentiles, which have not the Law, do by nature the things contained in the Law, these, having not the Law, are a law unto themselves:

Who shew the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another in the day when GOD shall judge the secrets of men by JESUS CHRIST according to my gospel.

 

For,

for this cause

 

was the Gospel preached

 

also to them that are dead,

 

that they might be judged

according to men in the flesh,

but live according to GOD in the spirit.

Your father Abraham rejoiced

to see My+ Day:

and he saw IT,

and was glad !

 in the lowest parts of the earth.

( that is, literally, which in a day were formed into ECHAD, the unified,

plural ONE ... which equals the CHURCH ) 

Psalm 139: 15-16

 

Thus, the CHURCH, the Ecclesia, 

the Called-Out ones …

 was formed

 

when Our VICTORIOUS LORD descended

 

into Hades, Sheol, the Heart of the Earth, 

Abraham’s Bosom

and preached

the GOSPEL unto the dead.

 

It had never been done before.

 

Not only the Patriarchs before M'SHIKHA+  came, but also those dead ones who had never heard of the LIVING LORD and the commonwealth of Israel, the ones who had never had the first chance to join themselves unto Israel to worship the Living LORD… now had the opportunity to receive the GOSPEL of CHRIST.

 

THAT  is what HE+ was “doing” down there in the heart of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights:  FORMING THE CHURCH.

Thus, as HE+ preached the GOSPEL to the Captives and took those who were held captive in hades, sheol, Abraham’s Bosom, ( i.e., the righteous dead ) … HE+ formed the Church and MOVED IT INTO THE PARADISE OF GOD, which is now located in the Third Heaven !  (see  2 Corinthians 12:2 ).

 

Hear the Prophet Hosea:

 

Come, and let us return unto the Lord:

for HE+ hath torn, and HE+ will heal us;

HE+ hath smitten, and HE+ will bind us up.

 

After two days

will HE+ revive us:

in the third day

HE+ will raise us up,

 

and we shall live in His+ sight.  !!!

What was HE+ DOING down there... for 3 days and 3 nights ?

Scripture recounts 

2 Jewish Sabbaths in that Passover week. 

Thus 

YESHUA+ 

HA MASHIYACH 
was crucified on a Wednesday.  
HE+ spent 

3 

very, very full days and 

3 

very, very full nights 
in the heart of the earth, 

exactly as HE+ said HE+ would, 
like Jonah.

Since Scripture is PRECISE in every detail, 
what exactly was HE+ doing down there 
all that time ? 

Was HE+ sleeping ?    

NO !

HE+ was VERY MUCH ALIVE and active after... 
yes, AFTER... 
His+ Passion and death 
on the Cross.
[ The wisdom and mystery of The ELOHIM... which none of the princes of this world knew, for had they known it, they would NOT HAVE CRUCIFIED the LORD+ of Glory. 1 Cor. 2:8 ]  

Was HE+ enduring the wrath of His+ FATHER because of His+ obedience ( in going to the Cross, carrying our sins ) ?

NO !  A thousand times NO! 

Was HE+ being beat up AGAIN by satan and his minions ? 

NO !

HE+ SAID IT WAS FINISHED !

Thankfully, we do not have to guess. Scripture tells us exactly what HE+ was doing in the most active time HE+ had on this earth. 

YESHUA+ HA MASHIYACH+ spent 3 earth days and 3 earth nights in the heart of the earth (Matthew 12:40) PREACHING ! ( 1 Peter 3:19)

To whom did HE+ preach ?  To the devil and satan and all the wicked spirits and demons? 

NO ! 

They had already ruined their chance for Eternal Life in the wondrous pleasantries of Heaven. Only the Lake of Fire awaits them in the very near future. (Rev. 20:10) 

YESHUA+ HA MASHIYACH+ preached unto the Spirits in prison. 1 Peter 3:19

Now, who were these spirits?  

This is what we KNOW from Scriptures:

• These "spirits" had form and figure and were recognizable, could speak and feel both emotionally and physically, and had mind and reason. 

(See YESHUA'S+ Words in Luke 16:19-31, which are NOT a parable, but an exact, precise account of those confined in Sheol, both the Righteous Dead and the wicked.)

• These "spirits" awaiting HA MASHIYACH+ were NOT in a place of torment, but in a comfortable place called "Abraham's Bosom." 
• Obviously, from YESHUA'S+ account in Luke, there was a great chasm fixed so that those who died in their sins and were in a place of torment could NOT cross over the chasm to receive any sort of relief. 

Yet, they had feeling, form, emotions, mind, wit, and remembrance... as well as their own, individual identity from their earthly life. They suffered just as they would have suffered on earth, with full physical suffering. 

See Luke 16:24, remembering that this is NOT a parable, but an exact account.  "And he cried and said Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue: for I am tormented in this flame."  

So, who were the Righteous Dead who did NOT die in their sins... before YESHUA+ HA MASHIYACH+ walked this earth as a man ? 

• The Patriarchs from the time of Adam unto Noah, those who lived righteously before the debauched pre-flood society. 
• The Patriarchs from Noah unto the time of Moses, including Abraham and his 12 sons which headed the tribes of Israel. 
• The Prophets, who so desired to see the day of YESHUA+ HA MASHIYACH+ but fell asleep awaiting the promise.
• Anna, the prophetess, and Simeon, the just and devout man in Jerusalem who was awaiting the CONSOLATION+ of ISRAEL, and all other devout and holy ones. 
• All the innocents, the children and babes,  who died from the beginning of creation.
• All others who lived righteously before the eyes of The ELOHIM... from the beginning of time. 

This would have involved LARGE groups of  people who would be REJOICING to see HIS+ Day! ( John 8:56 )

Furthermore, WHAT was 
YESHUA+ HA MASHIYACH+ 
preaching to those Captive Spirits of the Righteous Dead in Abraham's Bosom ?

HE+ was proclaiming the Good News: 

It is finished !

It is completed !

It is perfected !

What was finished ?

...His+ warfare, His+ battle. The requirement to beat satan, lucifer, as a MAN, i.e., the Second Adam+.His+ Warfare was accomplished and the Victory given. 

What was completed ?

The requirements from The Law. YESHUA+ HA MASHIYACH+ fulfilled it in total. The keeping of the 613 laws is no longer required* in order for us to come before The FATHER. 

* BUT YES, righteousness is still a requirement , yea, even HOLINESS is required, without which no one will see The LORD. (Hebrews 12:14 ) plus the Commandments of YESHUA+ HA MASHIYACH+, to love ...  yes love , not simply tolerate ... our enemies, to go the second mile, to return good for evil. 

The Apostles' words fortify this: to love not the world, neither the things that are in the world --- the lust of the eye, lust of the flesh, and the pride of life .  We follow YESHUA+ HA MASHIYACH+ our Example+, Who+, when HE+ was insulted, HE+ returned no insult. When HE+ was made to suffer, HE+ did not counter with threats, but instead, HE+ committed HIMSELF+ to the ONE WHO JUDGES UPRIGHTLY.   

What was perfected ?

The Sacrifice. The divine Sacrifice+ of The FATHER: The Unblemished LAMB+ of GOD, Who+ taketh away the sins of the world. 

Now the ONLY Blood sacrifice we can make that is accepted by The FATHER is through The BLOOD of YESHUA+ HA MASHIYACH+. 

What ELSE did HE+ do 
during those POWER-PACKED
days and nights
HE+ spent 
in the heart 
of the earth ? 
???
