The priesthood was extremely important because
it SET the TYPE. It prepared the people to RECOGNIZE the ultimate sacrifice ,
the LAMB+ of GOD Who+ takes away the sin of the world, the LORD Y’SHU+ the
M’SHIKHA+.
For
the priesthood being changed,
there
is made of necessity
a
change also of The Law.
Hebrews 7:12
In every translation made into English from
the Greek, Latin, Hebrew, and Aramaic texts as well, this short verse states
the same TRUTH . . .
except in the Hebrew Roots translations !
But as there is a
change in the priesthood,
so also is there a
change
in the instruction ( to
the Levitical priests).
Mr. Roth’s footnote note:“Following the context, a change in the priestly line means a change in instructions that relate to priests.”
Footnote #35, page 408 , mis-pagination edition.
So, ACCORDING TO MR. ROTH'S HEBREW ROOTS TRANSLATION . . . were the priests given new instructions to offer sacrifices a different way ? [ upside down ? legs severed ? head chopped off ?]Or, ACCORDING TO MR. ROTH'S HEBREW ROOTS TRANSLATION . . . were the changes of instructions that relate to priests dealing with the order of their courses, their rosters ?
What WERE these changes ? Surely the changes would have been documented SOMEWHERE in Scriptures.
The priesthood was extremely important because
it SET the TYPE. It prepared the people to RECOGNIZE the ultimate sacrifice ,
the LAMB+ of GOD Who+ takes away the sin of the world, the LORD Y’SHU+ the
M’SHIKHA+.
This pattern or type was minutely detailed: an
unblemished lamb, laid on the altar in a
CERTAIN way, a WAY which pointed observers to the Crucifixion.
The Priests were NOT PERMITTED to veer from the correct observance of this pattern.
It was a sacrifice which had to
be RE-NEWED every year, in order for a person to REMAIN IN THE COVENANT of The ELOHIM.
This Sacrifice was OBSERVED once every year to keep that TYPE before their eyes as a holy
sacrifice.
Therefore, we see that even to the Course of Abijah [ Abia ], recorded for Zacharias in Luke, every nuance of the Sacrificial LAW was observed by the Levitical priesthood and sacrifices under the LAW continued the same.
Thus, we see that only TWO changesto the Levitical priesthoodare found recorded in Scripture.
The FIRST CHANGE to the priesthood is The LORD
Y’SHU+ the M’SHIKHA+ Who+ became our great High Priest, after the Order of Melchizadek, King+ of
Righteousness, King+ of Salem ( Peace) .
This change of priesthood occurred AFTER His+
Crucifixion and Resurrection.
In this ETERNAL change, the High Priests were removed from their position , replaced by THE ETERNAL HIGH PRIEST, Who+ offered His+ own BLOOD once for all time, for the sins of the people.
HE+ was accepted by GOD The FATHER Who sent
HIM+.
His+ BLOOD was accepted as a PERPETUAL /
CONTINUAL / ETERNAL sacrifice to cover the sins of the people.
For
then must HE+ often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once
in the end of the world hath HE+ appeared
to
put away sin by the sacrifice of HIMSELF+.
Hebrews 9:26
How
much more shall the BLOOD of the M’SHIKHA+,
Who+ through The ETERNAL SPIRIT
offered
HIMSELF+ without spot
to GOD,
purge
your conscience from dead works
to
serve the LIVING GOD?
Hebrews 9:14
The SECOND, ETERNAL-for-all-time change in the priesthood was the removal of the TRIBE OF LEVI as priests. Yes, the REMOVAL of the Tribe of Levi as priests.
They were removed because there was no longer an ACCEPTABLE sacrifice for sins able to be offered by them, after the LAMB+ of GOD, our LORD Y’SHU+ the M’SHIKHA+ was offered up for our sins.
The Levitical priests were replaced by
Followers of The LORD Y’SHU+ the M’SHIKHA . . . whether the Followers were
Levites or not.
The Kosher Apostle Peter points this out to us:
Ye
also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, AN HOLY PRIESTHOOD, to offer up SPIRITUAL
SACRIFICES, acceptable to GOD by Y’SHU+ the M’SHIKHA+. 1 Peter 2:5
But
ye are a chosen generation, A ROYAL
PRIESTHOOD, an holy nation, a peculiar people;
that ye should shew forth the praises of HIM+ who hath
called you out of darkness into HIS+ marvellous
light: 1
Peter 2:9
Furthermore, the Apostle John, verifies this in
his Revelation:
And
hath made us kings / a kingdom of /
and priests unto GOD and HIS+ FATHER; to HIM+
be glory and dominion for
ever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:6
And
hast made us unto our GOD kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Revelation 5:10
Blessed
and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the
second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of
GOD and of CHRIST, and shall reign with him a
thousand years. Revelation 20:6
Mr. Roth’s cryptic footnote is an extrapolated
(i.e., stretched out or far-fetched) explanation based on the words and
concepts which he himself ADDED into the HOLY SCRIPTURE in Hebrews 7:12.
In that foot-note, Mr. Roth explains what his
own interpretation --- not translation --- means.
Mr. Roth’s footnote for Hebrews 7:12 . . .“Following the context, a change in the priestly line means a change in instructions that relate to priests.”Footnote #35, page 408 , mis-pagination edition.
It is hard to justify the Hebrew Roots
translators’ ADDITIONS of both words and concepts to this verse.
Purposefully done, these ADDITIONS attempt to
maintain the doctrines of the Hebrew Roots camp which deny … well, they deny
the entire message from the Book of Hebrews which was Written to Jewish
Christians !
After the NEW and Better Covenant was
established through the BLOOD of Y’SHU+, the Old Covenant is vanished away.
Hear The WORD+ :
But
now hath HE+ obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also HE+ is the MEDIATOR+ of a BETTER COVENANT, which was established upon better
promises.
Hebrews 8:6
+ + +
For
if that FIRST covenant had been faultless, then should no place have
been sought for the second.
Hebrews 8:7
In
that HE saith, A NEW covenant, HE hath made the
first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish
away.
Hebrews 8:13
The writer of the Book of Hebrews ~ perhaps
Barnabas, but whomever he was ~ had to be writing under the Inspiration --- the In-Breathing
--- of GOD,
the HOLY SPIRIT, according to Scripture, for we know that:
ALL
Scripture is given by inspiration of GOD, and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 3:16
How can mankind DARE to change the Living, Breathing WORD+ of GOD which was directly INFUSED by The HOLY SPIRIT ?Do our modern Hebrew Roots translators KNOW MORE than The ELOHIM ? Or, the Anointed Writer of the Book of Hebrews. . . written expressly FOR and TO the Jewish Christians ?
Here is a translation of a few other verses
from chapter 7 of Hebrews, translating into English from the Aramaic from a
very literal translation, The Holy
Aramaic Scriptures , found online at
12 But, as there was a change in The Priesthood, thus there was a change also in The Law.
[ B’namusa = in the
Law,
origin of this Aramaic
word ܒܢܡܘܣܐ is Greek]
Hebrews 7:12
Hebrews 7:12
19 For, nothing was
fulfilled by The Law,
but, abounding Hope entered in its place, from which we are brought near
unto Alaha {God}.
Hebrews 7:19
Hebrews 7:19
Furthermore,
the KJV states in Hebrews 10:
Heb
10:10 By the which Will we are sanctified through the
offering of the Body of JESUS CHRIST once for
all.
Heb
10:11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes
the same sacrifices,
which can never take away sins:
Heb 10:12 But This MAN+, after HE+ had offered ONE
SACRIFICE+ for sins for
ever, sat down on the Right Hand of GOD;
Heb
10:13 From henceforth expecting till HIS+ enemies be
made His+ footstool.
Heb
10:14 For by ONE OFFERING+ HE+ hath perfected
for ever
them
that are sanctified.
Andrew Roth, AENT, stated in his footnote that
the CONTEXT meant only a change of instructions to the priests.
Verbatim, Mr. Roth’s footnote at Hebrews 7:12, again:“Following the context, a change in the priestly line means a change in instructions that relate to priests.”Footnote #35, page 408 , mis-pagination edition.
Therefore, let us look CLOSELY AT THE CONTEXT
in which Hebrews 7:12 is written, in Aramaic and its accurate English
translation, from :
HEBREWS
Chapter 7
Chapter 7
1
Now, this Malkezdeq was The King of Shalem, The Kumra d'Alaha Marayma {The
Priest of God, The Highest}, and he met Abraham after he returned from the
slaughter of the Kings, and blessed him.
2
And unto him, Abraham separated a tenth from every thing that was with him.
Moreover, his name, being explained, is ‘King of Righteousness,’ and
furthermore, ‘Malek-Shalem’, which is, ‘King of Peace.’
3
Neither his father, nor his mother is written in the genealogies; and neither
the beginning of his days, nor the end of his life, but, in the pattern of The
Son+ of Alaha {God}, remains a Kumra {a Priest} forever.
4 But see how great this one was, that Abraham, the
head of the fathers, gave unto him a tenth; the firstfruits.
5
For, those who from the sons of Levi, who was receiving The Priesthood, have a
commandment, that is for them a law, that they receive a tenth from the Ama
{the People}, those from their brothers, whereas they also have been cast forth
from the loins of Abraham.
6 But, This ONE+, Who+ isn't written in the
genealogies, took up a tenth from Abraham, and blessed that one who received
The Promise.
7 Yet, it isn't disputed that he whom is inferior,
is blessed from the One whom he has benefited from.
8 And here, the sons of men, who die, receive the
tenths, but there, of Him+ Who+ is witnessed concerning The Kathaba {The Scriptures},
that HE+ Lives.
9 Accordingly, a man might say, through Abraham
even Levi, who receives the tenth, himself was also tithing,
10 for, he was still in the loins of his father,
when he met Malkezdeq.
11
If, therefore, perfection was through The Priesthood of The Levites, being
brought into place a Law for the world, why was another Kumra {Priest} required
to be established in the pattern of Malkezdeq, yet saying, "In the pattern
of Aaron, He will be?"
12 But, as there was a change in The Priesthood,
thus there was a change also in The Law.
13
For, HE+, concerning whom these were spoken, was from another Tribe; from which
no man ever born had served at The Altar.
14
For, it is revealed, that from Yehuda {Judah}, Maran {Our Lord} arose, from The
Tribe about which Mushe {Moses} spoke nothing concerning The Priesthood.
15 Furthermore, it is especially known, in that
which was spoken: “In the pattern of Malkezdeq,” that another Kumra {Priest} is
established,
16 Who+ wasn't established in The Law of carnal
commands, but rather, in The Power of a Life indissoluble.
17
For, HE witnesses concerning Him+, that “You are a Kumra {a Priest} forever, in
the pattern of Malkezdeq.”
18 But, the transformation * that was for the former
command was because of the weakness, and that there was no gain in it.
*[ same word as CHANGE in verse 12.]
*[ same word as CHANGE in verse 12.]
19 For, nothing was fulfilled by The Law, but,
abounding Hope entered in its place, from which we are brought near
unto Alaha {God}.
20 And He established it for us, by an Oath.
21 For those, without an oath, were Kumre
{Priests}, but, This ONE+ by an Oath, as HE spoke unto HIM+ through David:
“MarYa {The Lord-YHWH} has sworn, not lying, You are a Kumra {a
Priest} forever, in the pattern of Malkezdeq.”
22 All these things make an excellent Covenant,
these being secured by ESHU+ {YESHUA}.
23 There were many Kumre {Priests}, because of
death, not being allowed to remain.
24 But, This
ONE+, because remaining Eternally, His+ Priesthood does
not pass away.
25 HE+ is able to save forever those who draw near, through HIM+,
unto Alaha {God}, for, HE+ is alive and is always sending up prayers in their
place.
26
For, a Kumra {a Priest} such as THIS+, was fitting for us, WHO+ was pure, not wicked;
with no blemish, abstaining from sin; concerning WHOM+, is exalted from the Shmaya {the Heavens}.
27
For, not unto HIMSELF+ is the daily distress,
as was for the Rabay Khumre {the Priest's Chiefs}, who first, in place of their
own sins, drew near to sacrifice, and afterwards in place of the Ama {the
People}, for, this HE+ performed One Time, in His+ own Soul that was drawn near.
28
For, The Law established weak mankind for its Kumre {Priests}, but, The Word of The Oath, which was after The Law, The SON+ has perfected forever.
Thank you, LORD, for setting Thy Word+ upon us, that we may heed Thy UnBlemished SON+ and lay to heart His+
UnAdulterated WORD.
Thy Word+ is a Lamp unto my feet
and a Light unto my path.
Psalm 119:105
